Pangu: working overnight to fix jailbreak app installation error

While excitement is still going on in the community for Pangu’s iOS 9.2-9.3.3 jailbreak, the team has been aware of and acknowledged that there are increasing number of users getting stuck with an error message at installing the jailbreak app onto their device and working on a fix on that overnight even it’s already midnight over here in China.

From the above Weibo post, besides thanking all the users who used the tool to jailbreak their devices, the Pangu team is pointing out that the overwhelming positive response of the jailbreak has caught Apple’s attention to apply fixes at back end that caused major failure on the installation process.

However, the team has found the way to counter-act on it and will be working overnight on this. Don’t panic and please be patient if you got the same error message now as the fix is on its way.

What’s your experience in jailbreaking iOS 9.3.3 devices? Check out our full tutorial if you haven’t and let us know if any questions you have. Stay tuned as we will keep you posted with the latest as usual.

        That same app you use to jailbreak on your phone, open it and wait 20 secs. then click that button and go to lockscreen. It will then restart and you will then have your jailbreak back

    Jailbreak on 2 iPhone 6s Plus worked great! Then a few hours later both Cydia and the app I downloaded from Cydia just crashed and will not open. Both iPhones are experiencing the same exact problem. I tried to re-jailbreak but I get the “crying monitor” pic.

    I restored my iPhone with and without backup (as new iPhone) and Cydia along with that app is still on the iPhone. It’s very strange. I can’t remove them and I can’t re-jailbreak. Any ideas or solutions?

      That’s weird. Haven’t got this issue even after I restored and jailbreak for another time

    Gee, it might be nice for those of us who don’t speak/read Chinese to tell us just what the “major failure” is and what it says on your large iPhone screen image!

    Sooo.. this ‘looks’ like;

    1. during the JB proces there’s certain communication going from and to a Apple service from that PP app? (because I read that Apple applied a fix in their back-end and now the JB has issues?

    2. When a JB was applied, devices ‘just rebooted’ and lost their JB… Does this mean there’s a certain ‘live’ connection to “somewhere” that was interrupted by ‘Apple’s fix’. Now my concern is, what could this ‘live’ connection be and what is/was being transferred?
