Recent rumor from China claimed that the iPhone 7 battery capacity could have slightly smaller than that of the iPhone 6, despite of the higher watt-hour leaked earlier.
Previous leaks of the alleged iPhone 7 batteries showed that the iPhone 7 battery has 7.04Wh which is higher than that of the iPhone 6S which is 6.61Wh. But lacking further details could not allow us to convert it back actual capacity in mAh.
According to the source above, the battery for 4.7″ iPhone 7 will have a capacity of 1,735 mAh, while the 5.5″ model will have it with 2810 mAh, which the smaller version has slightly lager battery than that of the 6S, but are slightly less than those for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S Plus respectively.
But looking at the fact that the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus (or Pro) could be slightly thinner than the predecessor, Apple could have the chance to pack the new flagship phone with a smaller battery but feature similar battery life with more power efficient A10 CPU.
So what’s your take on this? Are you worried if the battery shrinks a little bit? Let me know in the comments.
