For those who got stuck in 20% or 60% jailbreak progress when jailbreaking with TaiG Jailbreak Tool V2.1.2, there are some official tips listed on the community forum of 3K Assistant – the partner of TaiG on this iOS 8.3 jailbreak.
Here is the translation of the latest tips (dated 26 June) highlighted in blue in the above screenshot:
- For those got stuck at 20% in 32-bit Windows, please install older version of iTunes
- Try again after 5 minutes if stuck at 60%. Reboot the device or PC and re-jailbreak (No need to restore)
- Still investigating on Error 1101, 1102 and 1100. (Try rebooting device and PC)
- Turning on Airplane Mode will also be able to solve some problems
But if none of the above could help you out, don’t worry and be patient. The good news is the TaiG team is working hard today to squash out other bugs found in the V2.1.2 jailbreak tool, as announced on both their CEO and official Weibo accounts earlier today:
Today we continue fixing issues that still exist in the jailbreak process. Thanks all users for supporting us. Meanwhile, PP Assistant please respect our efforts, and beware of user safety.
Currently there is caching issue with TaiG’s Cydia Repo, Saurik has added TaiG jailbreak V2.1.2 into the default repo. For those who cannot get the 2.1.2 update you can now download from Cydia default repo now. V2.1.2 still has 20%/60% stuck issue, we are fixing it. Before that please try the tips to fix the issues. Besides, some tweaks are not compatible with iOS 8.3, please use with caution. We will sort out and provide a list of incompatible tweaks for your reference.
