Apple has been pushing a bunch of app updates that brings in Apple Watch support well ahead of this highly anticipated new product goes online. These certainly empower the Apple Watch to do much more than you think initially thanks to these third-party developers.
Productivity apps including Evernote, Things and Wunderlist have got their updates released on the App Store now. If you are the users of these apps and services, this could be a side motivation for you to possibly get an Apple Watch, in my opinion.
Here are the change logs of these 3 apps:
Evernote for Apple Watch
– Dictate notes into Apple Watch and they’ll be transcribed and synced to Evernote
– See recently created, updated, and viewed notes
– Dictate searches and see results on your Apple Watch
– Create reminders and get notified about items due today
Wunderlist for Apple Watch is here! As your most personal to-do list yet, it intelligently puts your lists, agenda, and reminders right on your wrist to help you get stuff done on the go.
To help show what’s most important to you, we’ve designed a very special Home View for Wunderlist for Apple Watch. From here you can quickly get to all of your most important to-dos via your Smart Lists and if you need to access a specific list, just scroll down using the Digital Crown.
Wunderlist for Apple Watch also helps keep you in the loop and on top of your to-dos with Reminders, a Glance of your Today Smart List and notifying you as soon as a colleague or friend shares a list with you.
Things 2.7 is being released today to millions of existing users in anticipation of the release of Apple Watch. Installing this update means you’ll be able to have Things on your Apple Watch as soon as you receive it next month.
You can also follow 9TO5Mac for the running list of third-party Apple Watch apps rolling out from now on.
Are you excited to get your hands-on the Apple Watch and play with these apps on your wrist? Let me know what you think in the comments.
