Wunderlist gets major functional update and UI enhancement

Wunderlist is a great award-winning productivity and Get-to-do (GTD) tool that allows users to organize work, sharing task lists in a simple way but stay productive and effective. Today users are able to receive one of the biggest updates to Wunderlist apps ever, including Folders, Quick Add, a brand-new design for mobile & Android Lollipop.

Here a summary regarding the update for your easy reference:

Folders are a simple way to organize your lists…All you need to do is click and drag a list onto another list or long-tap on Android, to create a folder.

As soon as you open Wunderlist on your iPhone you’ll see a new blue circle. Tap it to add a new to-do or to create a new list…You can instantly send your new to-do to any of your lists without ever leaving your Home View…Quick Add comes with an intelligent bit of technology that detects phrases like “Monday at 9am”.

From bright bursts of color that match your background to the fun new transitions and hand-crafted animations, each element of Wunderlist for Android has been given the complete Material Design treatment.

Thanks to a refreshing pop color and twelve new hand-crafted pictograms…Wunderlist Home View’s new design makes it simpler, smarter and faster to find the Smart List, Folder or List you’re looking for…will be coming over the next few weeks.Wunderlist Blog

Here’s a video showcasing the new Quick Add Function:

I used to be a pure iOS Reminder user but I started to realize I need more out of a task management app. I am personally now a Wunderlist Pro user that can enjoy all the advantages and handy features that it offers like unlimited file size and subtasks, in a much more detailed and organized way, on all platforms – Windows, OSX, iOS and Android. The subscription fee is $4.99 per month.

Of course, you can always sign up for a free account which I believe the service and functionality are more than sufficient for a normal user. You can download the Wunderlist apps from the following links. If you want to learn more about my experience on using Wunderlist, please leave a comment below or reach me on social media.
